Our Vision

TECHNOLOGY AS AN EQUALIZER

Coding Made Accessible is working on bridging the gender gap, diversity gap and socio economic gap in the STEM field.  We are aiming to empower students in our programs to be STEM ambassadors in their communities through mentoring and hands on learning.

We are striving to ensure diversity by making coding and STEM programs accessible to all. We hope to see that aspiring students irrespective of race, gender, and income barriers have fair and equitable opportunities in technology.

We are a non-profit organization founded in 2020 with the sole objective of making coding accessible to all students irrespective of race, gender, and economic status. We’ve started the process of building accessible circles, raising funds, holding workshops, and conducting coding sessions for students from elementary to high school.`

We are excited to announce our first Artificial Intelligence summit!!!

When you hear news about artificial intelligence (AI), it might be easy to assume it has nothing to d/o with you. You might imagine that artificial intelligence is only something the big tech giants are focused on, and that AI doesn’t impact your everyday life. In reality, artificial intelligence is encountered by most people from morning until night.

In this summit we will introduce the practical application of AI in every day lives. Students from grade 4-12 are eligible to join the summit.

Dr Sreeram Murthy – Key Note Speaker at the Coding Made Accessible Artificial Intelligence Summit

Dr Murthy, CEO and Chief Data Scientist, Quadratyx

Dr. Sreerama K. Murthy is an experienced data scientist; a globally respected mentor in AI, machine learning, big data & automation; and a successful serial entrepreneur. With experience spanning three decades. Dr. Murthy has been recognized as the first Indian to earn a PhD in Machine Learning (Johns Hopkins University, 1995).

Over the past 25 years, Dr. Murthy has applied data science to hundreds of problems across industries, functions and geographies. Some recent examples of his teams’ work include – real-time fraud detection in banking, data-centric determination of the side effects of drug use, information extraction from videos, AI for fashion and styling, serendipitous placement of advertisements, boosting per sales person revenues, predicting staff attrition, agricultural demand forecasting, AI-driven digital transformation of massive enterprises, extraction and validation of information from judicial and financial documents, next-generation conversational bots for citizen services, and plugging energy leakages in distribution networks.

A distinguishing feature of Dr. Murthy’s career has been the ability to foresee new applications of AI, ML & Big Data many years ahead of the market. His image & text analytics work with Hubble Space Telescope (early 1990s), sophisticated computer-aided medical diagnosis systems (late 1990s), use of machine learning for individualized teaching and vocational skilling (early 2000), plus his entrepreneurial activities on AI-centric logistics, digital rights management and data compression, all justify labels like “AI Visionary” and “Big Data Rockstar” bestowed upon him by the community. Dr. Murthy has published scores of international publications in AI/ML and holds 21 patent applications (9 issued). He has been an invited AI speaker at prestigious forums like the Trilateral Commission, the US-India Forum, CII National Summit, Concordia summit, etc.

Dr. Murthy’s deep passion for teaching and mentoring has earned him the distinction of being among the “ten most prominent analytics academicians” in India. Dr. Murthy has physically taught thousands of data science professionals and conducted scores of senior management mentoring sessions. He led the production of thousands of hours of multimedia content and built large data science teams from scratch.

Dr. Murthy is currently the CEO and Chief Data Scientist of Quadratyx – a company that creates novel AI, ML, Big Data and Automation solutions for dozens of global enterprises. Dr. Murthy lives in India and works around the world, spending his spare time on yoga, music, literature and social service initiatives.

Mr Sharat kayapanda joins Coding Made Accessible as Executive Mentor

 

 

 

 

Mr Sharat Kaapanda is an Associate Director, Accenture.

He leads the Advanced Technology and Architecture practice, with over 15 years of broad industry experience in the areas of integration, technology architecture, program/project management, leading and delivery of large scale technology solutions, operational management using onsite/offshore delivery models and client account leadership.

 

Dr Sudha Iyer joins Coding Made Accessible as Executive Mentor

 

 

Education: BSc Microbiology, Mumbai University, MS Molecular biology, University of Notre Dame, MS Neurobiology, Johns Hopkins University, PhD Health education, Berne University.

Dr. Iyer has over 15 years of work experience, with international publications in learner psychology, behavior modification and instructional design. She led teams that developed thousands of hours of award-winning e-content. She is an expert trainer & motivator, who serves as a moderator for Aspen Institute’s Global Leadership programs. She conceptualized and led academic revitalization initiatives involving tens of thousands of rural and urban students across India, as part of Young Indians (YI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Conrad Innovator 2021

 

 

Coding Made Accessible founder Abhi Potineni becomes a“Conrad Innovator 2020-2021” in Health and Nutrition category. He teamed up with Kheya Siripurapu and Sritan Talluri and built an Artificial Intelligence product “Bias Detector”

The BiasDetector prioritizes patients most in need of clinical care by calculating the risk score of patients. The tool will give doctors more time to focus on patients in critical conditions, where diagnosing and treating the patient quickly and efficiently is essential
